Calling all Coast Guard enthusiasts and supporters!
The Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation wishes to harness the skills and enthusiasm of the community to support and celebrate the Coast Guard.
The Foundation’s Board of Trustees includes various Committees, the service on which will be filled by the Foundation’s Nominating Committee and are open for application by all Cape May County residents, both seasonal and year-round. In addition to the Festival Committee, which plans and executes the annual Coast Guard Community Festival, several other supporting committees support our efforts. These include an Events Committee, Education Committee, and Development Committee.
For those not able to commit to full Committee participation, the organization also seeks volunteers to assist with day-to-day tasks and with specific event execution. Whether as a Committee member or as an event volunteer, individuals with expertise in education, design, display fabrication, finance, and more will be essential to the Foundation.
The Board hopes for every town in Cape May County to be well represented. Positions require various time commitments — from just a few hours for a single event activity to an average of 5 to 10 hours per month for Committee work, including regular contact with the Foundation’s Executive Director.
