The Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation presents the ALWAYS READY 5K / K9 on October 10, 2026. Kicking off at Harborview Park, this dynamic race winds past the picturesque Cape May Harbor, enters the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May and wraps up back at Harborview Park.
Get ready for The Always Ready K9 3K, hosted in partnership with Lead the Way Dog Training. Structure, confidence, and strength will help you and your dog reach the finish line together. If you know your pup is a natural leader, now’s the time to show it! Lead the Way Dog Training specializes in “Positive Balanced Training” for real-life situations, supporting dogs and owners in building better behavior, clearer communication, and stronger bonds through structure, guidance, training, and enrichment.
Our Event Partner in beer, Cape May Brewing Co., will be bringing our 21+ adult participants a thirst quenching Always Ready Pale Ale – Cape May Brewing Co.’s beer that salutes the Coast Guard community at the finish line. **Proof of legal drinking age is required. There will be an ID check.
