Inspired by the Coast Guard’s motto Semper Paratus — “Always Ready”— we created the Emergency Bridge Fund to ensure our local Coast Guard families are never alone in a crisis.
In order for us to be truly “Always Ready,” we must always be prepared for the emergent situation. Whether facing a government shutdown, housing emergency, or unexpected hardship, this fund provides immediate support when it’s needed most.
The Emergency Bridge Fund is our campaign to raise funds that will be used for the emergency needs of Active-Duty Coast Guard members and their families who are stationed in Cape May or residing in Cape May County.
The Emergency Bridge Fund also welcomes gift cards to local grocery stores to provide immediate aid for basic needs such as groceries, diapers and household essentials.
We welcome Gift Cards with a minimum value of $50 to the following local grocery stores:

Aldi
Rio Grande Grocery Outlet
Shop Rite
The goal of the Emergency Bridge Fund is to serve as a financial safeguard for Coast Guard families, ensuring access to essential resources during periods of hardship. This initiative recognizes that support is necessary for all, regardless of their strength or resilience.
