RECOGNIZING RECRUITS IN TRAINING
For nearly two decades, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary has presented the Seamanship Award to a deserving graduating Recruit from U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May.
The Seamanship Award Program, in collaboration with the USCG Auxiliary, provides funding for Marlinspike Rigging Knives, which are awarded at each graduation to the Recruit who demonstrates the highest proficiency during the Seamanship Phase of Training. This program is generously supported by Cape May locals, Maryellen and Jim Ozalas, to whom we are deeply appreciative for their support.
