2023 Sunset Cruise is on Hiatus…
Join the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation for a 2-hour cruise on the Cape May Whale Watch and Research Center’s American Star. Cape May County is largely surrounded by water with nearly half of the area being wetlands. Our coastlines, bays and harbors make this an ideal location for the USCG Training Center Cape May, the only enlisted boot camp in the nation, and the many other Coast Guard sites in the county. It only seems appropriate to hold one of our fundraisers on the water in recognition of the significant impact the Coast Guard has in our community.
We will set sail in time to head towards the sunset while enjoying being on the water in the evening air. You will also want to be on the lookout for local wildlife, both bird and marine, as you enjoy the cruise.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be provided along with a cash bar. You can sit back and relax or move between the two decks of the Atlantic Star to get a better view. There will be raffle prizes available from local Cape May businesses so you might leave the cruise with a special gift. The evening will just be getting started when the cruise ends so that you can explore all the other activities that Cape May County has to offer.
A portion of the proceeds from the ticket price will support our programs for Coast Guard members and their families in Cape May County.
