The Southern New Jersey Coast Guard Ball, presented by the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation, is a unique gathering that celebrates the ceremonial traditions of a “Military Style Ball” with the exuberant spirit of a community that honors those who serve, was held on April 18, 2026 at the Wildwoods Convention Center.
This Formal / Black Tie Optional event progressed from an atmosphere of elegance and refinement to energetic dancing as the night unfolded.
The evening began with our Cocktails & Melodies Cocktail Hour live music performance by Brandt Jacobus of MelodicNights.com, followed by an exciting program including formalities such as a Remembrance Table Ceremony, remarks from the USCG Training Center Cape May, an update from Congressman Jeff Van Drew and an inspirational message from Keynote Speaker, Don Folino, rounded out by toasting to all of our military branches. DJ Denny Oh kept the energy up all night, playing music that had everyone dancing.
From the laughter on the dance floor to the heartfelt conversations, the photos (link below) capture exactly why we host this cherished celebration — to honor our Coast Guard personnel and strengthen the bonds within our community.
