Our Mission & Values
Inspired by the Coast Guard ethos Semper Paratus — “Always Ready” — the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation pledges to provide comprehensive support to Coast Guard personnel and their families. Through advocacy, educational programs, morale and wellness initiatives, and meaningful events, the Foundation recognizes the dedication, resilience, and service of Coast Guard members and the loved ones who support them.
The Foundation’s work is grounded in strong relationships, shared commitment, and pride in service. By fostering belonging and mutual support, it helps strengthen the connection between Coast Guard families and the broader Cape May County community.
Our Programs & Initiatives
The Foundation’s programs promote well-being, resilience, and connection for Coast Guard personnel and their families. Key initiatives include:

Community Engagement and Advocacy
The Foundation partners with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to strengthen the relationship between the Coast Guard and the public. The biannual Coast Guard Community Guide further highlights stories of service, community contributions, and ways to get involved, reinforcing a shared commitment to those who serve.
How to Support
